Hey guys I'm back with another player blog for GiveNGoBasketball.com.
This year we are doing great for a young team. I think have been playing not great or bad. I still have not met my expectations yet. At the same time I think I have upgraded every part of my game since my freshmen year. I have played well against good competition especially when we played Montverde Academy. I also think that we all have what it takes to win a state title.
My favorite NBA team this year is the Indiana Pacers. I like the way they play defense and my favorite player in the NBA is Paul George. He really blew up last year and I think I did also my freshmen year. I really like the way he plays and his overall skill set. I don't necessarily try and play like him but he is good guy to look at so I can add more to my game.
I think I have developed my overall game a lot since my freshmen year. My jump shot, ball handling and basketball I.Q. are the aspects of my game that I've improved. With the help of my coaches I was able to get that much better from last year. Coach Arbitello, Christ The King's Head Coach, has really helped me out. Coach Arb are very close and talk on a daily basis. He helps me on the court and a lot off the court. He even got me a tutor for school. He just really cares which means a lot.
My two favorite subjects in school right now are Sports Psychology and Global History. Sports Psychology really helps you with your I.Q., it makes you think more. The way my teacher describes the subject makes me more engaged in all of the small or big details of basketball. I've really enjoyed the class and how much fun the teacher is.
I'm looking forward to AAU season this summer. I'm hoping that I get invited to some of the Nike and Adidas camps. I think it's going to be a big AAU season for me. I look to turn some of my interest into offers. I'm suiting up for the New York Rens again this year. We are a good Adidas program that travels a lot and have a lot of talent.
The recruitment process is still a blessing. My most recent offer is from Minnesota. I'm looking for a school that has a great atmosphere and one that will get me to the next level. One thing that isn't a factor to me is location. The school just has to be a good fit for me.
Before I end my blog I just want to give a shout out to my cousin Kenneth Beaubrum from South Shore. He is a good player and is someone to keep an eye out for.
Thanks for checking out my latest player blog. Be sure to keep an eye out for more in the future.
